!!Trek through the Sacred forest of Ajobagad !! About the Trek : Ajoba is Second Highest Peaks in Sahyadri Ranges. Total height of this hill is 4511ft. On the half of this hill Valmiki Ashram is situated. A small water stream provides us with pure water. On the top of this Hill we can see Luv – Kush Cave & Cradle of Sitamai "Sitamai Palna". We are planning one different rout for this trek via sacred grove (Devrai) Date of Trekking 23 & 24 April 2016 Level : Medium Duration: 1 Night / 1 Day Highlights of Treking: Experience the secrete grove (Devrai ) Valmiki Ashram Local food at village *Note : We may trek to Luv-Kush Paalna, only if the terrain is not slippery or risky . Outing Schedule: Catch 06.29(Kasara) fast train from CST and reach Asangoan by 08.02 pm. Move towards "Dehane" village by private jeep. Reach Dehne village. After the ice breaking session, start trek via sacred forest route. Trek till the Valmiki Ashram and rest for the night. Early morning wake up call and explore the surroundings. If possible, visit the Sitamai Palna area. Breakfast at Valmiki Rushi Ashram and rest for while. Start descending from forest route / regular route. Have lunch at base village Dehane.
