(Leaving on 17th March 2016 at 1:00 PM ) Brief Information about the Tour:-Anandwan literally, means Forest of Joy, located around 5 kilometres from Warora in Chandrapur in the state of Maharashtra is an Ashram of 465 hectares and a community rehabilitation centre which was mainly started for Leprosy patients and the disabled from downtrodden sections of society. It was founded in 1948 by noted social activist Baba Amte The project is run by the organisation Maharogi Seva Samiti. Two of its other projects are Lok Biradari Prakalp and Somnath, a village for cured leprosy patients.Hemalkasa is a village in the Bhamragad taluka of Gadchiroli district in Maharashtra State, India. It belongs to the Madia Gond community. Hemalkasa is where the famous Magsaysay Award-winner couple Dr. Prakash Baba Amte and Dr.Mandakini Amte manage the Lok Biradari Prakalp project.Schedule for the Event: - Meeting point CST Railway Station on 17th March 2016 at 1:00 PM.
