Panhalekaji Caves: The famous rock-cut caves are situated on the bank of the river Kotjai which further meets the Dabhol creek. These historical manmade caves are believed to be more than 1000 years old and are the great examples of ancient cultural and architecture. There are a total 29 rock cut-caves, both big and small spread along the river bank. You can find Buddhist as well as Hindu religious rock sculptures similar to Anjantha caves. There are sculptures of Ganesh, Saraswati and scenes from the Mahabharata and Ramayana on the walls.

You can also take a walk along the river bank to enjoy the flora and fauna on both sides. Jungle covered mountains lie on both sides of the river. There is also a fort called "Pranaldurg" at top of the mountain. Every visitor feels in harmony with the nature, which breathtakingly unfolds around the river. In this remote area you can see variety of birds flying around and you may also get chance to spot Asian river otters.

Harnai port is the main fishing village. Every evening hundreds of fishing boats come back after fishing and gather to auction their catch. You can also participate into the fish auction and bid for fish of your choice. It is an unforgettable experience for all seafood lovers. Watching fish auctions has become one of the major tourist attractions at Harnai.

Suvarnadurg, Kanakdurg, Goa Fort and Fategad. Suvarnadurg is a shore fort and surrounded by sea on all sides. It was conquered and refurbished by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in 1660. It was also a base for the Maratha navy ship-building facility. Suvarnadurg fort was the base for Kanhojee Angrey who was the chief of Maratha Navy. Kanhojee Angrey spent his childhood in Suvarnadurg fort, of which he was later the Governor. He set up powerful fleet of warships to protect the western coast of Konkan from British, French, Dutch and Portuguese attacks. Suvarnadurg fort is a landmark in Konkan.

Aasood : Shree Keshavraj temple is located amidst lush green land, a perennial stream and rolling hills. You can park your car on the Asud Bag road and take a 15 minute trek through coconut, betel nut, mango and cashew trees to reach here. The natural spring originates at the hill top and flows down to the front of the temple supplying water to the stone carved cow mouth (Gomukh) throughout the year. The surroundings are calm and tranquil interrupted only by the harmonious chirping of birds.

Anjarle is one of the finest places in Konkan. It is just 20 km from Dapoli. It is famous for the ‘Kadyawarcha Ganpati’ (Ganesh temple situated on a cliff). This ancient and magnificent Ganesh temple was originally constructed using wooden pillars in around 1150. Later it was renovated during 1768 to 1780. Earlier people used to cross Anjarle creek (Jog River) in a boat and then climb the hill using steps that go through the Anjarle village. Recently a bridge has been constructed and you can take your car right up to the entrance of the temple.

Bankot Fort : The name Bankot is derived from "Bavanna Kot" a Marathi phrase meaning fifty-two forts. Shivaji Maharaj captured this tiny fort and added it to Swarajya, which was the fifty second fort and hence the name "Ban Kot". It is a coastal area on the Arabian Sea with attractive beaches.

Harihareshwar is renowned tourist spot in Konkan for its temples and beaches. Moreover, it is said as Devbhumi or Temple Town. Harihareshwar alone have two beaches- one, that is in front of Harihareshwar Temple, and other in front of Greengate Resort. Harihareshwar is an evergreen place and one may visit it in any season. It is placed in the heart of nature and bounded with Sahyadri’s hills. One can spend his three or four days of holiday without fed up. Click the most exuberant lizard of Maharashtra
(LIMITED REGISTRATION OUTING )
Short info :
The Fan-throated lizard (Sitana ponticeriana) is a species of agamid lizard found in Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, and parts of Pakistan. The species is found mostly on the ground in open ground patches in thin forest, and when disturbed this species may run on two legs.

They are known as fan throated lizards as they have an expandable flap of skin under their throat, known as a dewlap or a gular fan. This species expands the dewlap in order to scare enemies, as a part of courtship or as communication to other individuals.

Also during this period the forest adjoining Ratangad hills is found lit with thousands of fireflies.

The fireflies gather on specific trees in thousands and lighten up together at night displaying a

"Fort Raigad is much more than a mere tourist spot. It is a sacred place of pilgrimage, which has left an imprint of the grand vision of Hindavi Swarajya as cherished by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj."
Fort Raigad was the capital of the most illustrious Maratha sovereign, nurtured by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It is a monument of his prophetic vision of Hindavi Swarajya.

The first main place on the fort is the main door - 'Maha Darawaja'. After the main door, Ganga sagar and some remains of the palace can be seen. The famous 'Takmak Tok' or place for life punishment - is on the north side. Its thrilling to stand near Takmak Tok which is always with full of breeze. One can see the ammunition store here. The market place on the fort is worth to watch and history lovers spends time here recalling the great warrior.

The statue of 'Shivaji Maharaj' is situated at the center of the fort. The Samadhi of Maharaj is also very beautiful and one can remember Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his contribution and full dedication to Swaraj.
