360Global Holidays Roopkund Trek 24 to 31 May 2015

Roopkund Trek is to a Himalayan trekker what the movie 'Sholay' is to a hardcore Bollywood buff. Just like Sholay is the complete Bollywood entertainer (it has action, drama, comedy, romance), Roopkund is the quintessential Himalayan trek. This trek has snowcaps, meadows, lakes, forests, folklore; and yes, it has an intriguing flashback too. Roopkund is a mountain lake, lying in the Garhwal Himalayas in the Chamoli district of the Indian state of Uttarakhand.Situated at a high altitude, the lake remains frozen almost throughout the year.Roopkund is also called the 'Mystery Lake', or the 'Skeletal Lake', on account of the several hundred human skeletons found scattered in and around the lake

Camping on an Island, Gazing the Stars…!!

About the Tour :

We present a completely new photography experience, we have for you, a whole new way for expand your photographic horizons and come and shoot something attempted rarely by a large majority of Photographers. The Camp is mainly focusing on these four techniques :
Star Trail Photography : In Star Trail Photography, Photographers use the motion of the Earth to create a dynamic picture of the unseen motion of the world through Space, The final result is often a mesmerizing reminder of the unseen and almost unfelt ride that the Earth takes through the Cosmos.
Low Light Photography : In ideal conditions, even while shooting wildlife, the camera has a lot of light to play with, what will you do when the main source of the Light, the Sun is not visible any more? With low light photography, a new world awakens and calls out to you to capture it. Find out if you are a night shooter.
Light Paintings : Here is where we get to play with light in a way, that is simply not possible in Daytime, truly, the light and hands take the shape of clay and you could shape it anyway you like. A fun group activity which teaches you how other people can “make” subjects out of light

Post processing : Star Trail and Night shots don’t go through the same processing that day shots go through, as soon as we are done for the night we will discuss some common ways to deal with the issues we face in low light photography and also how to process star trails.

Konkan Kada Rappelling (1800 Ft Height) 6-7 March with 360Global Holidays

Harishchandragad is a hill fort in the Ahmednagar region of India. Its history is linked with that of Malshej Ghat. The height of the fort is 4671 ft. The most interesting point on this fort is this cliff, which has always fascinated many people from many years. The cliff faces west and looks down upon the Konkan. From here, one can have a breathtaking view of the surrounding region and the setting sun. This cliff is not just vertical, but it is an overhang, almost like a cobra's hood.

Konkankada, a unique formation in the Sahyadris, is really tough and a challenge for the trekkers. This is a semicircular cliff of about 2,000 ft straight drop + 1000 ft slant fall in the Konkan plains. The surrounding grandeur and beauty of the plains and the mountains leaves us totally spellbound. It is one of the highest direct fall cliffs to be found in Maharashtra and Western Ghats. This is a combination of thrill and bliss that every true adventurer would say 'YES!!!'
