Ovalekar Wadi Butterfly Garden is an unique open Butterfly Garden, where you can see butterflies in natural surroundings and not in any enclosure. Much importance has also been given for the Larval Host Plants of Butterflies. This Garden is open to public on all Sundays only. The timings are between 8:00 morning to 12:00 noon.![]()
The tentative itinerary for the Trek is as given below:
Meeting Point: Thane stn: Platform 1 at 7.00 am
From here we travel to Ovala by bus/Rick.
walk for 500 mtrs from Ovala village to Butterfly Garden, Ovalekar wadi
Enjoy Photography of birds and butterflies from 8 am to 12 noon.
