Vardayini Waterfall Rappelling with Backpack Holidays on Sept 21st & 22nd 2013

We at Backpack Holidays invite you for the thrilling Waterfall Rappelling of the season at Vardayini Waterfall on 21st  & 22nd September 2013 (2 Seperate batches)



Details for the event:
Location: Kherwadi village, Nagothane
Height: Approx 135 feet
Grade: Medium.
No of Seats: 45 per batch

Rappelling is an act of descending a mountain face by sliding down a rope, which is attached to a body harness and fastened to an overhead projection, with sufficient friction provided as to make the speed of descent controllable.

The only difference here is we will be rappelling down through a waterfall.

The tentative itinerary for the Event is as given below:

Meeting point Mumbai Mates
SwamiNarayan Temple, Dadar (e) at 6.00 am
Pick up points –
Yogi Hotel, Chembur: 06:15 am
Vashi Bridge, Vashi : 06:30 am
Nerul, LP : 06:45 am
McDonald’, Kalamboli, Panvel: 07:00 am

Reach Kherwadi & Breakfast at the base village: 09:00am
Orientation & Rappelling: 09:30 am
Evening Refreshments: 04:30 pm
Departure for Mumbai/Pune: 05:30 pm
Reach Mumbai/Pune: 09:00 am tentatively

The charges for the event are INR 1200/- per head which includes:
Travelling from Mumbai to Mumbai by private bus,
Breakfast and evening refreshments
Equipment and Expertise charges

 Extra Rappelling will cost Rs 300/- Per Rappel, and will be permitted only after every person has done with his first chance.

Identity proof (must)
Lunch For the Day,
Water (atleast 2 Ltrs),
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.
Towel, a napkin, Extra Pair of clothes
Camera, Cap, etc. (Optional)
Windcheaters,
Medicine those if u require usually
A good trekking shoes, extra pair of socks
A haversack to put in all the things to be carried....so that one has ones hands free while trekking. Pleases do not carry sling bags or Jholas.
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments. 

Requested to double wrap your belongings with Polybags so as not to get them wet.
