Brief info about Kaas plateau
The Kaas Plateau is known as Maharashtra's Valley of Flowers.
Kaas Plateau is situated on the high hills of Sahyadris in Western Ghats.
It is the best place to visit in monsoon, from the mid of August to October.
The whole plateau looks like a carpet of flowers in various colors.
It's a unique place for flora researchers, nature lovers & photographers.
Near about 175 various flower species found at Kaas Plateau and
one of the few found on earth only at Kaas Plateau.
In June 2012 UNESCO has announced this location as a Biodiversity World Heritage Site.

Ketaki realized her true interest very early and has been able to enrich the artist in herself.
Ketaki is a trained photographer from the “Raheja School of Art, Mumbai, India”.
And she’s mastered the skill at “The Arts University College at Bournemouth (UK)”.
With lots of experience of working for many reputed organizations,
Ketaki has pursued different kinds of photography from fine arts,
journalism, documentary to advertising and designing.
Throughout her journey she has bagged many accolades and gained experiences she loves to share.
She’s a superb trainer and a visiting lecturer at Art colleges.
Simply, someone we must listen to if you love photography.
Tour Schedule:
Day-1:
Early morning depart for Satara, check in hotel.
Post lunch after briefing about the workshop n landscape photography proceed for Thoseghar waterfall and Chalkewadi windmills.
Late evening arrival at hotel followed by indoor workshop session.
Dinner. Overnight at hotel.
Day-2:
Early morning Post breakfast proceeds for Kaas.
Explore Kaas plateau and its surroundings. Post lunch depart for Mumbai.
Late evening arrival at Mumbai. Tour Concludes
