Kusur plateau is in western range of the Deccan plateau with a spectacular view of the valley along with waterfalls on one side and Andre Lake on the other side. From the top we can have glimpses of Dhak & Bahiri caves, Dukes Nose & Rajmachi.
Kondeshwar – In rainy season this is must visit place. Surrounding is very beautiful with huge waterfall behind the temple. There are several small shrines in this religious site. The architecture of this temple is hemandpathy style.
Trek Schedule & Fees:
1) Meeting Point Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Borivali (East) station near A/C 700 Bus Stop at 10:30 pm.
2) 2nd Meeting point Thane (East) Ticket Booking Counter at 11:30 pm
3) We will reach Kusur Village on Sunday, September 1, 2013 around 4.00 am.
4) We will get fresh have tea and start our trek to Kasur Plateau @ 7.00 am. We will reach @ top of the plateau in 1 hr.
5) We will do sightseeing and trail on the plateau and will start descend around 12.00 pm.
6) We will reach Kondeshwar around 1.00 pm and visit the temple @ kondeshwar.
7) We will start our return journey around 4.00 pm and Mumbai by 10 pm.
8) Contribution per person is Rs. 1000/-
(This includes tea, breakfast, lunch, snacks, and traveling from from Borivali to Borivali).
