The monsoons bring out the Best of the Sahyadris; a carpet of green covers the mountains and the occasional showers along with the fog and mist add to its beauty. The rains give a fresh breath of life to a lot of waterfalls both big and small, which majestically cascade over these very mountains.
Rappelling down the waterfall is an experience of a lifetime! The sound of the cascading water along with the mist & spray that accompanies it makes the descend a thrilling experience.
One can also choose to relax in a safe pond with a mini cascading waterfall; which in itself is Therapeutic.

Height of the Rappel: 80 Feet (Approx)
Grade: Easy
Base Village: Bekare
Rendezvous: Meet up at Bhivpuri Railway station (Central Railway) at 8:00hrs.
Participants from Mumbai can board the Karjat fast train leaving Mumbai CST at 6:16 am and halting at Byculla (6:23 am), Dadar (6:30 Hrs), Kurla (6:41 am), Ghatkopar (6:56 am), Thane (6:56 am), Dombivali (7:08 am), Kalyan (7:16 am) & all stations after Kalyan.
Note 1: Please ensure that you purchase your own return tickets for Karjat
Note 2: Missing out on the 06.30hrs Karjat Local would mean that you will have to board the 07.03hrs Karjat Fast from PF No.1 & arrange for special transport to the Event Site which would entail additional cost.
Participants from Pune can join us by taking the 11010 Pune Mumbai Sinhagad Express leaving Pune station @ 06.05hrs.
One can also board from Shivajinagar (06.10), Khadki (06.15), Pimpri (06.25), & Chinchwad (06.30).
On getting off at Karjat, board the local waiting on PF3 for Bhivpuri.
Please buy a ticket from Pune till Neral/Kalyan so that you can save on the time wasted in buying the ticket at Karjat
The itinerary for the Event is as given below:
Train from Dadar to Bhivpuri (~1.5hrs)
Travel from Station to Base village in a Jeep/Rickshaw (~0.5hrs)
Introductions & Breakfast (~0.25hrs)
Hike from base to Waterfall (~0.5hrs)
Instructions & Demonstration (0.5hrs)
Post instructions, each participant will get One opportunity to Rappel down the gushing waterfall.
We would be back at Bhivpuri @ 17.30hrs (Subjective)
