Merry Christmas Travellers!!

During the monsoon of 2011, we lost our way around Duke's nose and couldn't ascend it. But we will finish this pending task this Sunday. And we won't just ascend the peak but also rappel down, 300 feet!

Lying in the Khandala region, Duke's nose named after the Duke of Wellington is also known as Naagphani, for it resembles the hood of a cobra when seen from the expressway! The trek is easy and a magnificent view of the valley and the Mumbai-Pune railway line awaits the trekker!

Rappelling will be done over the monolith that resembles the nose. This activity will be conducted by the same group of experts who accompanied us to the Secret Waterfall rappelling event!

The Plan:

The Breakfree Bus will leave from Borivali(McDonald's) at 0500 AM and proceed on the Western Express Highway passing through Goregaon-Andheri-Bandra(Kalanagar), further it will take the Sion-Chembur-Vashi-Panvel route to eventually join the Mumbai-Pune expressway.

We will be very happy to pick you up from any point on the given route.

Cost: Rs. 1350 inclusive of Rappelling Charges, Breakfast, Lunch, Transport and whole lotta fun!

Kindly note:

1. We recommend Action Trekking Shoes; running/gym shoes normally give away to the tough terrain and become useless.

2. Carry at least 3 litres of water with you along with some dry snacks.

3. A pair of change

4. Consumption of Alcohol, Narcotic substances and cigarettes is prohibited and may lead to possible expulsion from the trek, and an early expulsion from Natural Habitat.
