As we all have studied in school, It was the capital of Great Maratha Emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
It is situated 2700 ft above the see level. It is located in the Sahyadri Range. There are approximately 1400–1450 steps leading to the fort, though today a rope-way exists to reach the top of the fort.

Raigad in the Monsoon..!

It is the great experience to walk on the clouds.
This awesome atmosphere doesn't let you feel the efforts that you have to give to climb the 1500 steps.

Once you reach the top, I really don't need to tell you how it feels to experience the fusion of the great History of Maharashtra and the Pleasant climate at the heights.

Authentic lunch provided on the Fort, fulfills the Trek.

The Fort is Blessed with the beautiful architectures.
Capturing the Fort in the mist is an truly amazing experience,
