Short Info:
This is a small National Park, compact, yet full of game. The density of the Tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India. Covering 448 sq. km., Bandhavgarh is situated in Shahdol district among the outlying hills of the Vindhya range. At the centre of the park is Bandhavgarh hill, rising 811 mt above MSL. Surrounding it are a large number of smaller hills separated by gently sloping valleys. These valleys end in small, swampy meadows, locally known as ‘Bohera’. The lowest point in the park is at Tala (440 mt above MSL). The vegetation is chiefly of Sal forest in the valleys and on the lower slopes, gradually changing to mixed deciduous forest on the hills and in the hotter, drier areas of the park in the south and west. Bamboo is found throughout.

Schedule:
6th March: Leave for Katni by Muzzafarpur Express, Trn No.11061 at 12.15pm from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus.
7th March: Reach Katni Junction by 5:10 am. Reach Resort by 10:30 am. Check In and Lunch. After Lunch Leave for 1st Jungle Safari. Evening Back to Resort. Dinner and then Rest.
8th March: Early Morning Have Breakfast and Leave for 2nd Jungle Safari. Back for Lunch. After Lunch Leave for 3rd Jungle Safari. Evening Back to Resort. Dinner. Post Dinner Experience Sharing Session. Rest.
9th March: Early Morning Leave For Bird Watching Trail. Chek Out. Leave For Jabalpur. Enroute Lunch and Sight seeing of Bedaghat near Jabalpur. Leave Back for Mumbai by GKP-LTT Express Trn No. 15018 at 11:50 pm from Jabalpur.
10th March: Reach Mumbai by 06:40 pm at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus.
