Dukes nose is a huge pinnacle which can be seen while travelling between Mumbai and Pune. The Cliff is pointed like a snakes pointed head portion (hood) and hence the name Nagphani (Nag means snake and phani means hood). The name Dukes’nose is derived as the cliff looked like the shape of the Duke. The sights from the top are unique and magnificent as one sees a vast landscape and the winding Mumbai Pune Express Highway and many marvelous views. It si famous for rock climnbing, valley crossing and rappelling adventure activities.

Here is a list of all the things that we need to carry:
1. A haversack to put in all the things to be carried, so that one has hands free while trekking
2. A bottle of water (1.5 liter)
3. Camera (Optional)
4. Electoral / Energy powder, 2 lemons, some snacks & biscuits
5. Torch with extra batteries.
6. Personal medicines & 2 plastic bags for weight distribution
7. A good trekking shoes
8. And most important: A sense of adventure
The charges for the trek are Rs. 300/- per head, which includes travelling from Khandala till Lonavala, breakfast, Lunch and expertise charges.
