Nisarga Bhraman has arranged a thriling trek in the Tryambakeshwar region of Nasik to the fort Harihar.
About the place:
Place: Fort Harihar
Base Village : Takeharsh Or Harshewadi and Nirgudpada
Region : Trimbakeshwar, Nasik
Grade: Easy
Height: 3676Feet
Fort Harihar is a triangular massif with sheer vertical walls & edges. The only way up the fort is by climbing rock cut steps in a 70 degree rock edge. Climbing the stone ladder is like doing a trapeze act in the sky. There are a couple of caves, a storage house, water tanks, a pond & a temple atop the fort. The top offers one a birds eye view of the entire region & also gives one the gratification of having gotten over the fear of heights.
For more details, please visit our webpage –
http://www.nisargabhraman.org/2016/06/thrilling-trek-to-harihar-fort-on-2-rd.html
The cost of the trek would be Rs. 850/- only.

Walk Among Wild Lilies.
Mumbaikars may wait desperately for monsoon but when it comes, there is little to rejoice about. Monsoon indeed slows down the city's machinery but its not so in the city jungle i.e. Sanjay Gandhi National Park. If you wish to enjoy the rains from the start then join us for our unique programme wherein we make you greet dainty and ephemeral lilies and other wildflowers who have sprouted after a long hibernation. They infact are monsoon special plants which are only seen in the beginning of rains. Some lilies such a Pancratiums who may only flower for a day or two and the giant lilies such as Crinums might be there only for week. We have therefore designed this programme to witness this short drama of nature.
The programme is open for all. It includes a lily walk and lily talk conducted by experts, interactive sessions such as quiz, Crinum Lily story and Pollen scope.
Venue: Nature Information Centre
Time: 7.30 am to 12.00 pm
Date: 3rd July 2016 (SUNDAY).
Programme:
7.30 a.m.: Registration
8.00 a.m.: Lily walk by experts
9.30 a.m: Breakfast
10.00 a.m.: Monsoon Flora of SGNP talk
10.45 a.m.: Flash card story and Pollinator Scope
