"रायगड ऑडव्हेन्चर क्लब"तर्फे आयोजित प्रबळगड संवर्धन व स्वच्छता मोहीम दिनांक १५ मे २०१६.   मा. प्रांताप्रधान यांनी स्वच्छता मोहीम काढली त्यात सर्वांनी हात धुऊन घेतले, सर्व ठिकाणी मोहिमा झाल्या पण त्या फक्त फोटोसाठी, आणि पब्लिसिटी साठी. असो पण आपल्या स्वराज्यातले गड – किल्याचे काय? खरी गरज तिथे आहे, आपल्या घरामध्ये, गावामध्ये, शहरामध्ये सर्वचजण हि काळजी घेतीलही कदाचित पण गड किल्ल्याचं काय? असा विचार मनात आला. म्हटलं चला आपणच सुरुवात करूयात. आम्ही सुरुवात करतोय तुमचं काय? येतंय ना मोहिमेला?   मोहिमे संदर्भात माहिती: - १.      गडावरील खराब पाण्याचे टाक साफ करणे. २.      आणखीन २ टाके साफ करून त्यात पाणी साठून राहील असे करणे. ३.      रूट मार्किंग करणे. ४.      साफ सफाई व संवर्धन.   सविस्तर माहिती: - १४ मे २०१६ ·         ०८:०० पनवेल ला सर्वजण भेटतील व ठाकूरवाडी कडे प्रस्थान करतील. Camping at Koraigad (Lonavala) On 21st-22nd May 2016 Region: Lonavala Height: 929m Grade: EasyType: Hill FortTour Cost : Rs. 650/- When we talk about camping at our ever favorite camping spot in Lonavala, we are talking about good food, panoramic landscapes, starry night, campfires and some great company Right next to Aamby Valley sits Koraigad, a vast plain made for perfect camping nights. P.E.A.K. TROOPS goes for a Trek and Camping at Korigad on 21-22  May, 2016   Highlights of Korigad :Korlaidevi TempleGanesh Temple 2 Large ponds Beautiful views of the surrounding valleys Aamby Valley View from top From here Nagphani Point, Tung, Tikona, Matheran, Prabalgad, Karnala and Manikgad ranges can be viewed.  About Koraigad South of Lonavala in the Maval region is the Koraigad fort which offers a panoramic view of the Deccan Plateau as well as the Konkan region. To get here you have to take the INS Shivaji road from Lonavala to Ghusalkhamb, Peth-Shahpur and Ambawawne, the village at the foothill. From here is a slightly arduous path through moderately thick forest leads to a flight of steps take you to the main entrance of fort. The distance between Lonavala and Peth Shahpur is just 20 kilometeres. From the village of Peth-Shahpur you can see Koraigad hill rising like a steep wall. Its height is 3000 feet from mean sea level, but the height from peth-shahpur to the top is about 800-1000 feet. The path to the forest goes along a flat plain for quite a while before entering the forest just below the fort. From here to the main doorway is a steep climb, through dense vegetation. Among the various trees which can be found here are fig, mango, bamboo, hirda, kokum, nirgudi, karti, raanwangi, ghasodi.
