Learn about these magnificent visitors on a trail with BNHS. This is also a good time to see the last few remaining waders in their breeding plumage, before they leave for their breeding grounds. Reporting*: Outside Sewri railway station (east) at the railway crossing junction at 7:00 a.m. How to Reach: Sewri railway station is on the harbour line accessible from CST, Andheri, and Navi Mumbai. This pressed flower art workshop will be held to show how pictures can be made for greeting cards & art work using easily available flowers & leaves from once own garden. At home we get plenty of bouquets & many flowers are wasted after events like; marriages or other celebrations. But we can still save some flowers which are wilting & press them to make wonderful picture. Mrs. Sulabha Sagwekar , who has been practicing this art form for more than 35 years will be conducting this workshop for those interested in knowing more about pressing flower & the process of making pictures. She will show the most natural way to go about doing this activity. "BEST OUT OF WASTE". So join us in Sanjay Gandhi National Park for a demonstration by Mrs. Sagwekar followed by a workshop for all wherein all can participate. Venue: Nature Information Centre.
