DETAILS : The fort trio of Alang-Madan-Kulang is situated in Kalasubai range. This area is rich with few of the highest mountain peaks in Sahyadri. Nearby peaks recognized are Kalsubai (higest peak in Maharashtra) & Ratangad. Other nearby landmarks are Bhandardara backwaters and Igatpuri.
The trek to Alang-Madan-Kulang is considered to be one of the toughest treks in Maharashtra. It tests your stamina, patience and mental toughness. No place for games here. The overall trek includes rock climbing, rappelling, high steeps, long walks

Tour Date: 14th Jan to 19th Jan 2016
Tour Cost: INR 18,500/- per person
Schedule:
Day 1: Leave from Mumbai by KOKANKANYA express train at 11.00 pm.
Day 2: Arrive at Margao in the morning. Transfer to the resort by private vehicles. Post Lunch birding in Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary in and around the resort as resort is located in the periphery of
sanctuary. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 3: Morning birding at Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary. Return to the resort for Lunch. Post lunch birding in Tambdi Surla area of Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. Post dinner walking trail around resort in search of Nightjars. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 4: Visit unexplored areas of Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary and Tambdi Surla area for birding. Return for Lunch. Post Lunch again continue the birding activity. (We are trying to include an evening visit to beach on Day 4, but is yet to be confirmed).
Day 5: Boat Safari in River Zuari and visit to Maina Lake or Carambolim Lake. Post lunch spend evening time in Margoa and return journey to Mumbai will be by Mandavi Express at 11.00 pm.
Day 6: Reach Dadar @ 6.00 am
Tour Cost includes:
Train journey from Mumbai-Margao-Mumbai.
