Excludes: Lunch for the day Anything not mentioned in inclusion list Account details will be given to confirmed participants Itinerary: Sunday 30th August, 2015 0000hrs: Departure from Mumbai 0500hrs: Arrive at Bari 0600hrs: Start ascend to Kalsubai after breakfast 1030hrs: At Kalsubai temple/peak. Have Lunch 1130hrs: Start descend to Bari 1500 hrs: Arrive at base village 1600hrs: Depart from base village after freshen up 2000hrs: Return to Mumbai Reporting point and pick-ups to be conveyed later About: Mt. Kalsubai at 1646 meters is the highest peak in Maharashtra. The mountain stands among the most rugged of the terrain that the Sahyadris have to offer. The view from the top is definitely breathtaking. The peak has a symbolic temple of the deity Kalsubai. The mountain being the tallest in Maharashtra, has been made easily trek-able by the locals. Be prepared to get you shoes dirty however due to the muddy and slippery terrain.
