Escape the Mumbai heat to the cooler climes of Pavana. Imagine a gorgeous campsite at the foot of the Tikona Fort, overlooking the expanse of the Pavana Lake and Pavana Valley. This weekend is all about enjoying the pleasant weather, soaking in your beautiful surroundings and digging into some seriously delicious barbeque. There will be yummy options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. If you're coming with friends or traveling solo, food is a uniting factor and you will return with new friends (and a full stomach!). So bring something warm to wear, comfortable shoes and most importantly, your appetite! There are enough number of clean and hygienic washrooms (western), changing rooms and bathrooms at the campground (Shared). There is also a tuck shop (run by local villagers) where you can buy things like - packaged water, cold drinks, packaged snacks and other basic utilities. But the best thing about the stay is the view you will wake up with.
