Who are these beautiful Fireflies : Fireflies or lightning bugs make light within their bodies. This process is called bioluminescence and is shared by many other organisms, mostly sea-living or marine organisms. Fireflies light up to attract a mate. To do this, the fireflies contain specialized cells in their abdomen that helps to create light.
About:
Rajmachi is a fort in Karjat region. There are two forts which were built by Shivaji Emperor during 17th century. It is a famous spot for trekking. It is a 17 km trekking distance from Lonavla. Rajmachi fort is a strategic fort overlooking Borghat(ghat between Mumbai and Pune) which was a historical trade route. Rajmachi peak has two fortified structures - the Shrivardhan fort and Manoranjan fort. Rajmachi can be reached by 2 ways, the tough route from Kondivide village near Karjat and the other easy but long way route from Lonavala. In rainy season this place is filled with giant waterfalls and greenery.
We meet at 15:00 Hrs (sharp) at Lonavala Railway station on Saturday 30th May 2015. We all can come by the 16351/Mumbai CST-Nagercoil Balaji Express, timings are:

Excludes: All kinds of Extra Meals / Drinks Ordered. Insurance, Tips, Porters, Phone calls, bottled water, aerated drinks etc. Personal expenses of any kind. Any kind of cost which is not mentioned in the Inclusion above. All expenses incurred due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances like Road blocks, bad weather.
Things to carry
Haversack to keep hands free, water bottle 3lts. Extra Pair of Clothes. Ready to eat food, like plum cakes, chocolate bar, some snacks & biscuits etc. Electoral or Enerzyl Powder or Glucon D powder. Sleeping bag carrymatt. Personal medicines. Sweaters if required. Please do not carry handbags or jolas for this trek. Wear good trekking shoes. Torch with extra batteries, head lamp. Bed sheets; please carry your personal tea mugs, spoon and a small Swiss-knife, plate, spoon, tea mug, and candles.

3. TreksandTrails reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without prior notice.

5. Sleeveless, low neck, figure hugging shirts/tops, short pants, hot pants not allowed.
6. Please avoid wearing Gold and other jewellery (at your own risk)
7. Please do not carry handbags or Jolas or Sling bags. Payment made is non refundable and non transferable.

Disclosures on medical conditions
It is mandatory that you visit your personal physician before enrolling for the trip if you suffer from any illness of any kind and disclose the same and your medical history to the organizers of the trip so that best possible arrangements can be carried out post approval. As organizers of the trip, we will be responsible for providing basic first aid throughout the trip. In case of unexpected mishaps or accidents, we will arrange for the injured patron to be taken to the nearest medical hospital wherever possible. The medical expenses will have to be borne by the patrons themselves. The cost mentioned above is for Indian citizens ONLY payable in Indian Rupees.
