About the Tour :
Star gazing is an activity carried out in the presence of experts observing stars, planets and other objects in universe with the help of Telescope. Mumbai Travellers in assosciation with Beyond Earth is organizing this event “A Night with Stars”. Here you will be spending your whole night with stars and stay at Barvi Dam. Normally we get dark skies near the dam hence we have finalized this location. So are you ready for this unique experience..??
Barvi Dam is one of the water project in outskirts of Badlapur. Being far from the main city this location offers good sky for stargazing and astrophotography. Easily accessible but still one of the unexplored places near Mumbai. Barvi dam is also good in terms of birding as being a big water resource it has lot to offer towards wildlife too.

NOTE:
1. Visible- Moon, Jupiter, Mars, and we will try to spot Great Nebula in Orion, Some types of Star Clusters.
2. Opportunity for Nikon DSLR Owners to attempt very basic astro-photography.
3. Blanket, Pillows, mattress will be provided

Outing Schedule :
Saturday evening Leave for Badlapur by 3.53pm fast local from CST. We will reach Badlapur by 5.10 pm. From their travellers will be transferred to the campsite by local transport. We will reach campsite by 6pm.
We will start the actual stargazing session after a short introduction round. Mr. Vikram will be handling your query and also will guide you to the huge and beautiful Universe. Small break for Dinner and the session will continue until the last person sleeps![;)]()
Sunday : Early morning post breakfast we will have fun near river and later will be playing some team games. Post lunch we will leave back for Mumbai.
Tour Concludes with Happy Memories :D
