Naneghat is a mountain pass in the Western Ghats range near Junnar in Pune district of Maharashtra, India. During the reign of the Satavahana (200 BCE–190 CE), the pass was extensively used as a trade route between Kalyan and Junnar.Literally, the name nane means "coin" and ghat means "pass". The name is given because this path was used as a tollbooth to collect toll from traders crossing the hills.
Prior registeration is compulsory Limited Seats Charges Rs 450/-(By Bus).
Note : Cancellation done at the last moment or on the day of the trek will be charged Rs 200/-
Meeting place & time :
DADAR : 9.30pm sharp , Near Manish Market.
MULUND : 9.45pm sharp IDBI bank, Opp Mc Donalds , Near Mulund(w) Railway station.
Tentative Iternary :
• Board bus and start journey for Naneghat base.
• Reach at around 12.30am approx and Start trek.
• Trek and reach top…Rest till sunrise in caves…explore play n masti..
• Descend after tea n Snacks
• Reach base have lunch and refresh.
• Leave for Mumbai.
Things to bring :
1) Proper Shoes compulsory.
2) TORCH Complusory.
3) Proper Bedding and shawl for night sleep.
4) Snacks(as per your need).
5) Extra pair of clothes.
6) Water bottles ( 2 ltr minimum ).
7) Personal medicines if any.
8) Windcheater/Sweater.
9) One time lunch.
