We at Wild Rangers glad to invite you for overnight Trek to Kothalihad(Peth) on 14 March - 15 March 2015.
Short Info:-
Peth, also known as ‘Kothaligad’, is situated in Shahapur Taluka, approximately 21Km North East of Karjat. This fort stands tall in the company of various other forts like Rajmachi, Dhak, Siddhagad and Bhimashankar, a witness to our illustrious history.
Journey Details:
Day 0, 14 March 2015
The Karjat Fast train scheduled at 19:55 hrs from CST that will drop us at Neral around 21:48 Hrs.
Pls be sure abt the timing… Following is timing where train halts…u can catch wherever it is comfortable to u…and do not forget to take ur Karjat return ticket…
19:55 Hrs: - CST | 20:08 Hrs: - Dadar | 20:19 Hrs: - Ghatkopar | 20:35 Hrs: - Thane | 20:56 Hrs: - Kalyan | 21:48 Hrs: - Karjat
Participants coming from Pune can catch 11050 Kop-Adi Express which is scheduled at 20:43 from Lonavla will drop you at 21:28
Reach Karjat station by 22:00 n have Dinner, Move to Base village by ric n Start ascending Kothaligad Fort, Reach Caves n take Rest.
Day 2, 15 March 2015
Early morning get up to enjoy sunrise,Explore fort n start ascending to base village after breakfast. Have Lunch in Base Village n Start our return journey to Karjat station.
Things to be carried:-
A Water Bottle (~2 Ltrs)
Dinner For Saturday
Torch with Extra Battery
Camera, Cell Phone, Mug (Optional)
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.
Medicine those if you require uHsually (Optional)
Extra Pair of clothes, Good trekking shoes,
A haversack to put all these things
Trek Fees: INR 650.00 per Person, includes travelling from Karjat to Karjat by local transport, Breakfast & Lunch
