ITENARY:
Train Journey: Catch 12471 Swaraj Express on Friday 3rd July. Reach Jammutawi on 4th July on 1445 hours. Catch bus to Srinagar 300 kms 5-6 hrs. Reach Hotel.
Flight Journey: People coming by flight can reach Srinagar on 5th July morning or 4th July night.
Day 1 - 4 July SAT
Arrival in Srinagar
Day 2 - 5 July SUN
Free time in Srinagar.
Day 3 - 6 July MONSrinagar – Kargil 204 Kms/ 6-7 Hrs
Morning After breakfast leave for Kargil, enroute visiting Sonamarg & Zodjila pass, Drass Village (2nd Coldest Inhabitant place in the World) for War memorial hall & Museum, reach Kargil by evening. O/N Kargil.
Day 4 - 7 July TUEKargil – Batalik – Dha – Sham Valley 158 Kms/ 5-6 Hrs
Morning after breakfast leave for visit to Batalik (one of the most famous war front zone fought by the Indian soldiers in 1999 with Pakistan) later visit to Dha & Beeama (Land of Ancient Aryans who still exist here) O/N Sham Valley.
Day 5 - 8 July WEDSham Valley- Leh 160 Kms/ 5-6 Hrs
After the Breakfast drive to Leh enroute visit Alchi monastery, Magnetic hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and Hall of Fame museum. O/N Leh
Day 6 - 9 July THULeh - Nubra Valley 120 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) post lunch, enjoy the camel safari at Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. O/N Nubra Valley.
Day 7 - 10 July FriNubra Valley – pangong lake 120 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs
After Breakfast visit Deskit Monastery (Big Buddha), where you can have a magnificent view of Nubra Valley and drive back to pangong lake via warila Route, crossing warila pass and leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Changla Pass 17,350 ft, 3rd Highest Motorable road in the world, Arrival at Camp, Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. O/N Pangong Lake.
Day 8 - 11 July SATPangong Lake – Leh 170 Kms/ 6-7 Hrs
Early morning enjoy the picturesque view of Sun rise on lake. After Breakfast drive back to Leh, enroute visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. O/N Leh.
Day 9 - 12 July SUNA Complete day for visits to the monasteries (104 Kms / 5-6hrs)
After breakfast drive to visit the Shey Palace, Thiksey & Hemis monasteries and Stok Palace Museum. Packed or Hot Lunch will be provided. Return to Leh in the evening. Overnight Hotel
Day 10 - 13 July MONLeh – Sarchu 260 Kms/ 10-11 Hrs
After Breakfast drive to Sarchu passing Puga, Tsokar Lake, Skyangchu Thang – Plateau on Stretch of 42 Kms, Enjoy your lunch at Pang, post lunch leave for Sarchu by crossing Nakeela and Lachlung La. Arrive Sarchu by evening. O/N Sarchu
Day 11 - 14 July TUESarchu – Manali 222 Kms/ 9-10 Hrs
After the breakfast drive for Manali, a beautiful scenic drive by crossing Baralacha La (4845m), lunch at Sissu village, later cross famous Rohtang Pass, 13050 ft. Arrive Manali by evening. Journey ends here
Day 12 - 15 July WEDFree time in Manali
Leave towards Ambala in evening
