We at Wild Rangers arranged Night trek To Gorakhgad on 18-19 Oct 2014

Gorakhgadh is situated in Malshej Range of Sahyadri. There is not much fortification on Gorakhgadh. There is a small pinnacle at the top. The way till the base of pinnacle is simple and to the top of the pinnacle is bit tricky this pinnacle attracts trekker as its offer good opportunities for rock climbing. This region of Gorakhgad and Machchindragad has a dense forest cover.

21.00 Hrs: - Gathering at Kalyan ST Depo
23.30 Hrs: - Reach at Murbad ST Stand
Sunday 19 Oct 2014
00.30 Hrs: - Reach at Dehri Base Village
01.00 Hrs: - We will lead towards Gorakhgad
04.00 Hrs: - Reach at Gorakhgad caves
We will take rest in caves n will enjoy a wonderful sunrise at 06.00 Hrs
06.30 Hrs: - Move towards top of the pinnacle
07.30 Hrs: - Start Descending to Caves
08.30 Hrs: - Breakfast in caves
09.00 Hrs: - Start Descending to Dehri
11.00 Hrs: - we will take Lunch at base village and start our back journey to kalyan
We will be back at Kalyan station by 14.00Hrs (Timings may vary ½ hr, with subject to individual’s pace at trek and traffic conditions)
Things to be carried: -
A Water Bottle (~2.5 Ltrs), Torch with extra battery
Camera, Cell Phone, Navigation Devices (Optional)
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
Some ready to eat food, fruits etc
Medicine those if you require usually (Optional)
Trekking shoes are compulsory,
Wear track suite preferably
Extra Pair of clothes,
A haversack to put all these things
Trek Fees Rs. 500.00 Per Person
(Includes Traveling from Kalyan to Kalyan, Breakfast, Lunch and Refreshments)
Tour Exclusion:
• anything which is not mentioned above.
• Any kind of expenses of personal nature.
