We will be visiting Pindari and Kafni glaciers; trudging up precipitous passes, sliding over the sizzling snow fields, and gorging on the soul-stirring scenery while conversing with the Himalayan fairies at altitudes of 3,000 to 3,800 metres.
This world famous glacier is a trekkers paradise, as it is easier to visit than most other glaciers. This glacier is situated between snow capped NANDA DEVI and NANDAKOT mountains. The river Pindari originates from this glacier. The glacier is at an altitude of 12532 ft. (3820 mtrs). The entire trekking route is filled to the brim with natural beauty. The beautiful view of Kumaon Himalaya can be seen from the Zero point of Pindari Glacier.
