Aasamant's Photography Tour To Allahabad - Varanasi - Sarnath November 21

Aasamant team has come up with a treat for the photographers with a tour to Allahabad-Varanasi-Saarnath :

Various places that we will be visiting are :

1) Allahabad Fort: Allahabad Fort was built by Emperor Ashoka but repaired by Emperor Akbar in 1583. The fort stands on the banks of the Yamuna near the confluence with the river Ganges. It is the largest fort built by Akbar. In its prime, the fort was unrivaled for its design, construction and craftsmanship. This huge fort has three galleries flanked by high towers.

2) Alfred Park: Also known as Chandrashekhar Azad Park and Company Garden it is a public park of 133 acres area and is the biggest park in Allahabad. It is renamed after freedom fighter Chandra Shekhar Azad, who sacrificed his life here, during the Indian independence struggle in 1931.

3) Anand Bhavan: It was constructed by Indian political leader Motilal Nehru in the 1930s to serve as the new residence of the Nehru family when the original mansion Swaraj Bhavan was transformed into the local headquarters of the Indian National Congress.
Varanasi which claims to be the oldest living city in the world, with 3500 years of documented history is also called Kashi.

4) Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir is one of the sacred temples of hanuman in the city of Varanasi. It is situated by the Assi river within Banaras Hindu University Campus. Temple was built in early 1900 by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya.

5) Kashi Vishwnath Mandir is one of the most famous Hindu temples and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple stands on the western bank of Holy Ganga, and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Vishwnatha means Ruler Of The Universe.

6)SAARNATH:- The deer park in Sarnath is where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma, and where the Buddhist Sangha came into existence through the enlightenment of Kondanna. Sarnath is located 13 kilometres north-east of Varanasi near the confluence of the Ganges and the Gomati rivers, in Uttar Pradesh, India. Singhpur, a village approximately one km away from the site, was the birthplace of Shreyansanath, the eleventh Tirthankara of Jainism, and a temple dedicated to him, is an important pilgrimage site.


The detailed itinerary of the event is as follows :

1) 21st November : We will Catch Allahabad Duronto Exp at 05:20 pm

2) 22nd November : We will reach Allahabad at 1 pm, After having lunch & Stay in Hotel, we will Explore Allahabad in the evening

3) 23rd November, After taking holy bath at Triveni Sangam,We will Catch a train to Varanasi at 10 am.
Reach Varanasi at 2 pm. Then Lunch, Stay in Hotel. followed by Exploring various temples and Ghats in the evening.

4) 24th November, : Visit to Saarnath & Ramnagar Fort. Attend Ganga Aarti in the evening.

5) 25th November, Visit to various ghats in the morning, Lunch and proceed to Allahabad by train. We will be Catching Mumbai Duronto at 7:30 pm

6) 26th November, Arrival in Mumbai at 2:30 pm

Tour Cost - 8500/- in Double Sharing Basis

Tour Cost includes:

· All food - tea, breakfast, lunch, Dinner and travelling from Allahabad to allahabad.
· Stay in normal hotel on Double sharing basis.
· Park Fees, Guide fee and local travel.

Tour Cost excludes:
· Train Fare
· Mineral Water, Camera Fee etc
· Dinner & Breakfast in the Train

· Confirmation of names for Participation is subject to payment of tour advance of Rs. 5000/-
