About Kaas– Kaas is popularly known as the Valley of Flowers of Maharashtra. This plateau is situated about 22 km from Satara. Visited in the right season, Kaas has an enchanting view of carpets of flowers of different shades. One can see a variety of orchids like Habenaria, insectivorous plants like Drosera and Bladderwort, rare flowers like Ceropegia, purple carpets of Catkins and pink carpets of Balsam – such are the spectacular sights at Kaas.

Highlights:
12 Sep.: Leave at 10:00 pm for an overnight bus journey from Mumbai.
13 Sep.: On reaching, freshen up and start early morning trek to Kaas plateau. Post trek, visit Thoseghar waterfalls and Chalkewadi windmill. Rest of the day for leisure.
14 Sep.: Have breakfast and have some chill time with fellow trekkers. Return to Mumbai by Bus.

- A lightweight and versatile backpack to carry water, camera, snacks, rehydrants, etc. during the trek.

- Transport from Dadar to Satara and back (Non A.C bus).

PAYMENTS:
FULL payment should be made as advance at the time of booking.
CANCELLATIONS:
- 50% of the cost will be deducted if the travel plan is cancelled by the customer 7 days or more prior to the date of commencement of travel.*
- No money shall be refunded in case of cancellation of travel plan less than 7 days prior to the date of commencement of travel.
- Failure to adhere to the above mentioned payment terms will result in automatic cancellation of the booking of the travel plan and no refund will be given, irrespective of the number of days left before commencement of travel.
*Only if the payment has been made in full at the time of booking. If only part payment is made before cancellation, the refund amount shall only apply to the amount over and above the cancellation charges.
