Kalsubai is situated in Balaghat range of Sahyadri, Nagar district. Height of this fort is 5400 ft above sea level
History:
Mount Kalsubai is the highest peak (1,646 meters) of the Sahyadri range. Kalsubai’s peak point served as a tower to watch the enemies during the Maratha rule.
What to see on Kalsubai:
1, A small temple
2. From the top at east side we can have glimpse of Saptashrungi, Markand, Ahivat, Achala and Ramshej Fort
3. From north side we can have glimpse of Alang, Madan, Kulang, Vishramgad and
4. Harishchandragad. We can also have glimpse of Matheran
5. We can see also beautiful view of Bhandardhara dam from the top.
Trek Schedule:
· Saturday, Sept 13, 2014 – 1st pickup 11:00 pm Borivali east Station near 700 A/c bus Stop
· Saturday, Sept 13, 2014 – 2nd Pickup 11:45 pm Thane (East) near Railway Ticket booking counter.
· We reach the base village of Bari, at 5:00am on Sunday, September 14, 2014
· After Tea and breakfast we will start our trek.
· We will reach at the top by 10.30 am. After rest of 30 Minutes we will descend down towards base village Bari and have lunch.
· Post lunch we will visit Randha fall, will enjoy the view and start our return Journey.
· Contribution per person is Rs. 900/-
(This includes tea, breakfast, lunch, snacks and private transport from Borivali to Borivali).

· All our treks are eco-friendly treks, kindly take care of nature around us
· Confirmation of names for Participation is subject to payment of trek fee of Rs. 900/-
