The rains are Back with a Bang! The numerous rivers, streams, & waterfalls have been infused with a fresh lease of life & are flowing in their full glory. The lush green rejuvenated surroundings combined with the pleasant weather make it all the more enticing to head out over the weekends.
Join us at Canvas N Chrome as we head out to try & conquer our fears at one such thundering waterfall in the back drop of the historic fort of Rajmachi & Buddhist caves of Kondhane.

 Registration Procedure:
  1. Call on any of the phone numbers mentioned
  2. Send us an email with Complete Name, Contact Number, Email Id, Emergency Contact Number, Blood Group, & Birthday
  3. Bank details will be sent out via email
  4. Transfer cash with your name in the Payment Description
  5. Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of full payment

Plan:
From Mumbai – Buy return tickets for Karjat & Board the morning first fast local. Alight/Get down at Karjat station. The timings for the same are listed below:
CST – 6.16, Byculla – 6.23, Dadar – 6.30, Kurla – 6.37, Ghatkopar – 6.41, Thane – 6.56, Dombivali – 7.08, Kalyan – 7.16
Note 1: In case you miss the train, Board the next Karjat Fast departing CST – 6.45 & Dadar – 7.03 (Train arrives on PF1 at Dadar). Alight/Get down at Karjat station & Take a private rickshaw to Kondane village at own cost.
Moral of the Story: Time is Money, Avoid getting Late!
From Pune – Buy ticket for Kalyan & Board the 11010 Sinhagad Express. Alight/Get down at Karjat & board the Local Train for Bhivpuri Road (1 Station after Karjat) from PF no.3. The train leaves Karjat at 8.20am
Pune – 6.05, Shivajinagar – 6.10, Khadki – 6.20, Pimpri – 6.30, Chinchwad – 6.35, Lonavala – 7.13.
Note 2: In case you happen to miss the train, the next train would be 12126 Pragati Express. On getting to Karjat station, hire a private rickshaw to Kondane village at own cost. We will arrange for a guide to escort the guest to the waterfall at an extra cost.

 Itinerary:
Saturday/Sunday
  • Train from Mumbai/Pune to Karjat (~1.5hrs)
  • Hike to Waterfall (~0.75hrs)
  • Rappelling Instructions & Demonstration (~0.5hrs)
  • Rappelling order would be conveyed to our guests on ‘First come First Served’ basis at the time of registration
 Cost Includes:
  • Travel from Karjat station to Kondane village & back
  • Simple Veg Breakfast
  • 1 Rappelling experience
  • Evening refreshment & snacks
  • Expertise & Guide charges
 Cost Excludes:
  • Packaged Water, Cold Drinks, Lunch,  etc
  • Anything other than that mentioned in the inclusions above
 Important Notes:
  • The Rappelling activity is safe & all precautions are taken from our end for safety.
  • All adventure enthusiasts need to be over 12 year’s old & under 110 kilos. Heart & Blood Pressure patients should avoid doing this activity.
  • Following the instructions of the Rappelling instructor is essential to ensure a smooth & safe rappelling experience
  • Guests are advised to confine themselves only to the areas earmarked as ‘Safe’ around the waterfall
  • Standing below the waterfall & diving into the waterfall will not be permitted & any guest found to be indulging in the same would be expelled from the event for compromising on safety
  • Clothes – Full Body covering attire advised to prevent scratches/bruises on the skin & also to protect from insect bites
  • Jeans – Avoid wearing jeans as they soak & hold water & abrade the skin, Track pants preferable.
  • Footwear – Shoes advisable, Extra Floaters or Chappals would come in handy
  • Extra Clothes – Advised for a change after the event
  • Snacks & Lunch for the day – Advisable to carry to keep hunger pangs at bay
  • Wrap all belongings in a polythene bag before putting it in the sack
  • Changing facility would be available at Bekre village
  • Transport to the station post event would be available at a fixed time & in batches of 10 people, Guest choosing to leave early will have to arrange their own transport.
  • Washroom only available at Railway station & in Kondane village.

  Our Belief System:
  • Possession and/or consumption of Alcohol will not be permitted & flouting of this basic rule will lead to immediate expulsion from the group.
  • Smoking will only be permitted after consultation with the Leader and the person will have to move away from the group to smoke. Smoking will only be permitted while we stop at a clearing and not otherwise.
  • The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.
  • Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety and baggage.
  • Please do not wear any jewelry or gold chains/rings.
  • Please do not litter, we believe in the saying, “Leave only footprints, Take back only memories”
