The road is calling out to us. After traversing the mountain roads of Himachal in Spiti and Kinnaur, it is time to explore the beautiful Aurangabad and Nasik region. It is time to take the road back into time, over a thousand years ago to visit the ancient caves and paintings of Ellora and Ajanta.

These sculptures of Ellora and the paintings of Ajanta continue to invite hordes of visitors throughout the year but during the monsoon, the entire region turns green and comes alive with streams and waterfalls. The overcast skies only add to the dramatic setting of these ancient heritage sites.

In addition to these, the strategically built fort of Daulatabad is an exhilarating climb. To hear how its well built structures warded off many invasive attempts. The medieval region of Aurangabad invites you to be a part of its history this Independence day.

Join us early morning of the 15th as our trusted Force Traveller, zips across the Nasik highway to reach Aurangabad. Over the three days we will explore Aurangabad, Ellora, Ajanta, Daultabad fort and on our way back, if time permits pay a visit to the ancient caves near Nasik - Pandav Leni.
