Recently declared world heritage site ‘KAAS plateau’ is one of the best place to see the wild flowers. Kaas is also referred as Valley of Flowers of Maharashtra. Situated 25 km from Satara is the place for more than 400 species of wild flowers, herbs, orchids, insectivorous and endemic plants. This is also the place for macro photography.

Tentative itinerary:
20 Sept - Leave from Dadar. Breakfast. Reach Satara. Check-in. Lunch. Visit to Kaas Plateau. Back to hotel.
21 Sept - Early morning leave for Kaas. Breakfast. Back to Hotel. Check-out. Late lunch. Back to Mumbai by night.
Meeting point: Pvt. bus will leave from Dadar T T at 6 a.m. via Chembur - Vashi - Panvel at 7 a.m. - Breakfast - Satara. We should return on Sun by late eve.
