Matheran Night Trail
Cost: Rs. 300/- incl expertise and entry fee.
The trail will start from Dasturi (parking area), Matheran between 11.30 to 12. We will scan the surrounding area for reptiles and amphibians - should conclude at Dasturi around 3-4 AM. Expert: Mr Nikhil Bhopale
Possible sightings: The group will be able to learn about reptiles and amphibians. Bamboo Pit Viper, Vine Snake, Cat Snake are commonly seen snakes on the trail. Amphibians like cricket frog, wrinkled frog, fungoid frog, tree frog, bush frog and many Indian Toad etc can be seen.
Do let us know if you are coming by train to Neral, we can arrange for pick up and drop for Neral-Matheran n back (at extra cost). If you are driving down then let us know we can club you with other who can join you on the way.
