VRangers Monsoon trek to Kohoj fort on 20th July 2014

About:
In 16th Century Portuguese ruled out king of Gujarat to capture this fort. Later in 1737 Peshwe won the fort from Portuguese. On top nearby temple there are 2 water tanks can be seen, if we are facing temple exactly on our left side there are 7 other tanks can see. On your extreme right side we can see fortifications and bastions. While going on top there are 2 more cisterns, water can be use for drinking.
Meeting Point: People can get into this local (2nd last compartment) or meet directly at Palghar Station.
Train Timings: Dadar-Dahanu road Fast Local (plz come with your return ticket).

Trek Schedule:
07.15 AM: Will start our journey by Jeep/ Tumtum.
08.40 AM: With introduction & Breakfast will Start Trek.
11.30 AM: Reach Top & explore fort.
12.30 PM: Have Lunch.
02.00 PM: Start Descend.
04.00 PM: Reach to base village & Start return journey with wonderful memories.
05.30 PM: Will be @Palghar Station.
08.00 pm/: Back to dadar.

Check List: (Rain Shower expected so please pack your bags accordingly.)
Compulsory items:
A proper two sided haversack to put all the things, So that one has hands free while trekking, id proof, approx 4 ltr water, Lunch For the day, Torch with extra batteries, some snacks, Should wear good trekking shoes, full sleeve shirt/T-shirt & Full Pant, if you have any medical issue please carry your own medicine as we carry only First aid, carry some extra cloths.
Non-compulsory items but helpful:
Cap, Sunglasses, Woolen Jacket, Camera , Avoid wearing Gold and other jewelry  mosquito’s repellent, Electoral / Energy powder, 2 Lemon, & 2 plastic bags for weight distribution. (It’s totally self responsibility to take care of things.)
