Trek: Matheran via Dudhane

This trek to Matheran is from Dudhane village and reaching the Sunset point in Matheran at about 800m(2625ft).
Matheran was discovered in 1850 by the then Governor of Bombay and was developed as a hill station. The train to Matheran started in 1907.
As you are aware that Matheran has been declared as an eco-sensitive region by the Ministry of Environment and Forest, Govt, Of India. It is one of the few places in the world where vehicles are not allowed. While trekking one can have some breathtaking views of lush plains, rivers and undulating hills.
Though this trek is long and of moderate difficulty, enthusiastic beginners can also try and enjoy it.
Please do not litter on the route or at Matheran.
The expense includes transport ex-Panvel breakfast/snacks, tea/coffee, evening snacks, tea/coffee and YHAI expertise for the trek. Lunch is not included and has to be carried by the participants. Any expense other than mentioned is to be borne by the participants.
