Little info About Place
The fort of Anjaneri, being the birthplace of lord Hanuman, has a great historical importance. Lord Hanuman was the son of Pavan (the wind) and Anjani, and hence the fort is called as Anjaneri. Anjaneri is one of the important forts in the ranges of Tryambakeshwar near Nashik. The Nashik-Tryambakeshwar road is branched at a distance of 20 km from Nashik as Anjaneri Phata.

What to see:
Jain caves
There are some caves near the steps through the route of Anjaneri fort. These caves have nice carvings in them which are carved by Jain people.
Anjani Mata temple
A walk of 10-15 mins on the top plateau takes you to the Anjani Mata temple which is quite big. Here 10-12 people can accommodate easily. Ahead there are two ways.
Seeta cave
The left way ahead of the Anjani Mata temple takes us to the two room cave within 10 mins.
Citadel
The right way ahead of the Anjani Mata temple leads directly to the citadel of Anjaneri fort in 20 mins. Here one bigger temple of Anjani Mata can be seen. The overall area of Anjaneri is vast.
Itinerary for the Event:• 6:30 am : Start the journey from Thane Station (E)
• 8:30 am : Pit Stop for Breakfast
• 10:30 am : Reach the Base Village
• 11:00 am : Start the Trek
• 01:00 pm : Reach the Top, Explore the fort, temples. Have the a Lunch @ the Top
• 03:00 pm : Start the descending
• 05:00 pm : Reach the Base Village & Start the Return Journey
• 10:00 pm : Reach Mumbai
Things to be carried:
• A Water Bottle (~2 Ltrs)
• Torch With Extra Battery
• Camera, Cell Phone, Mug (Optional)
• Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
• Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.
• Medicine those if you require usually (Optional)
• Extra Pair of clothes, Good trekking shoes,
• A haversack to put all these thingsCosts:INR 900 per person
