More about the destination:
Purandar Fort -
Peak Height: 4550 feet.
Type: Hill Fort
Grade: Easy
Purandar is about 40kms south-east of Pune and some 10kms south-west of Sasawad.  Preched on a gigantic mountain mass, its height above sea-level is 1398 metres and about 700 metres above the plain at its foot.  It really comprises two fortresses: Purandar, the stronger and more important of the two, and Vajragarh, small sister for t situated on a ridge running out east of it.  Purandar has two parts: the upper or Balekilla with precipitous sides all around and the lower part or machi about 300 metres above the plain. On the north side of the lower part there is a broad terrace comprising the cantonment area of the fortifications.  There are many monuments, old and new, on the terrace.  Towards the east of the terrace, beyond a narrow ridge, lies the fort of Vajragarh, also called Rudramal.

Vajragad Fort -
Peak Height: 4450 feet.
Type: Hill Fort
Grade: Easy
Also known as Rudramal fort.
"Vajra" means rock. There are big, solid rocks on this fort. Also there is a temple of lord "Vajra hanuman". So this fort is named as "Vajragad"
We enter the fort through this nice darwaja. Fort has 3-4 water cisterns, a Hanuman mandir and a ancient remnant below ground level with a staircase (covered with mud though).

Malhargad Fort -
Peak Height: 4450 feet.
Type: Hill Fort
Grade: Easy
Malhargad is a hill fort in western India near Saswad. It is also known as Sonori Fort due to the village of Sonori being situated at its base. The fort was named for the god Malhari and was the last fort built by the Marathas, about 1775.
The Sahyadri range to the west of Pune in Velha taluka is split, and the forts Rajgad and Torna are on one branch while Forts Sinhagad, Purandar, Vajragad and Malhargad on the other. This range is known as the Bhuleshwar range which is spread along the East-West direction. The fort is believed to be built to keep watch on Dive ghat along the Pune-Saswad route.
