To beat the summer heat, we are heeding the call of the road and it is time to hit our favourite National Highway 17 and explore coastal Maharashtra!

Konkan, as the coastal belt is known is home to a unique culture with its own cuisine, dialect, customs to boast of. This weekend, we invite you to experience all of it! Join us on a roadtrip to visit three pristine locations around Bombay.

Diveagar for its long beach, shaded beetlenut and coconut groves, Harihareshwar for its unique rock formations around the coast and the hamlet of Korlai with its lighthouse and the sprawling Portuguese fort surrounded by water on three sides!

The plan:

The Breakfree Bus will depart from Borivali at 4AM on Saturday, and pick up travellers en route to Vashi crossing Andheri, Bandra, Sion and Chembur. One can hop in anywhere along the route.

Day 1, will be spent exploring the rock formations at Harihareshwar and walking about the cliff. After a quick lunch, we will hit the coastal road that runs parallel to the Arabian sea to arrive just in time to catch the sunset on Diveagar beach.

Day 2: Next morning, after a visit to the beach and breakfast later, we will pack up and hit the road to Korlai, passing the beautiful Kundalika river and arrive in this erstwhile Portuguese hamlet. The sunset from the Fort is a breathtaking sight and we will head home after that, to arrive late evening in Bombay.

Accomodation will be in a 4 bed dorm which shares the boundary with the beach!

Food costs as usual will be split between the group.

Transport will be in an 17 seater, AC Tempo Traveller with reclining seats.

Total cost of the trip will be 2600 per person inclusive of accomodation, transport from Bombay to Bombay and a whole lotta fun!

Please call us up on 9820023362 to confirm!

Please also note: Consumption of Alcohol, Cigarettes or Narcotic Substances is prohibited.

Please pack light and bring a hat along!
