This sacred grove is located at 25 kms away from Chiplun. This dense forest shelters many wild creatures which includes Leopards, black panthers, Wild cats, Crocodiles, wild boars, number of beautiful birds and reptiles. Famous destination for Oriental dwarf kingfisher photography in monsoon. Crocodile Safari is conducted on Vashishti River Backwaters, We can find crocdiles Basking on the Bank of River. We get to see them from a closer distance. Crocodile is one of the reptiles of which photography has been difficult, Mumbai Travellers gives you opportunity to click them from a closer distance. Overnight journey towards Chiplun at 11:30 pm from Dadar by private AC transport.
Day 1: 19th April : Early morning reach campsite and have breakfast. Leave for 1st Jungle trail with loads of photography opportunity. Post Lunch leave for 1st Crocodile Safari. Click crocodiles at one of the best locations basking at river banks. Dinner and later leave for night trail in the forest.
Day 3: 20th April : Early morning leave for a jungle trail. Post breakfast check out and leave for Crocodile Safari-2. Later lunch in nearby Hotel. Post lunch leave back for Mumbai with some amazing clicks. Tour Concludes.
