AO Adventurer,
Shalom Adventures always look for something different and new in their event.
After successfully creating National Records by rappelling 1100ft at a stretch and only group to conduct 1800ft Actual Rappelling at Konkan Kada here comes with New route for trekking at Harishchandragad.
Most of us have visited Harishchandragad via Khireshwar, Pachanai, and even via nali-chi-vaat.
There is still some route which is yet to trek by many.
Shalom Adventure presence trekking via Junnar Darwaaja and Sadhleghat in one event.
Both the routes will give you experience of exposure, rocky trail, amazeing view, and many more.
So grab your sacks, gear your shoes and get set go & experience this... “Extreme adventure"
Who we are...!!!
- FIRST ever Actual Rappelling event, Konkan Kada in Dec,2012. (123 participants / 5 days)
- Rappelling down 400ft from the edge of Kalavantin Durg - Panvel, the first ever event of its kind. Feb 2013.
- We rappelled down at night, along the Nana’s Anghta – Naneghat April 2013. (Approx.300 ft)
- Expedition to the “No Man’s land”, Tiger waterfalls – Lonavala May 2013 (850+ft, overall)
- Successfully led 17 enthusiastic adventures to ascend Harishchandra gad, from the legendary, Nalichi-vaat route during the rains in Aug 2013.
- A unique and memorable birthday celebration with the cutting of the birthday cake in the midst of the waterfall.
- National record holder in Rappelling. Fastest time of our Group member was 2 Min 38 Sec for 1100ft at a stretch.
The itinerary for the event is as given below:
24th January 2014
Meeting at Kalyan station at 10:00 PM
Travel to base village with private vehicle.
Night stay in village school.
25th January 2014
Trek via Junnar Darwaaja. Enjoying the adventurous trekking route.
You will get proper equipment’s & support to climb.
Reach Harishchandragad cave get fresh and move for Sunset view and Camping at Konkan Kada
We will have Tent stay with homemade Dinner around Bonfire.
26th January 2014
Wake-up call by 7 AM.
Enjoy our breakfast at Konkan kada.
Trek start for Sadhleghat.
Cost: Rs. 1200/- only.
Only 18 ppl.

Things to carry:
Mandatory - Pack lunch for Saturday noon, Proper and comfortable ruck sack, 3 liters of water, comfortable shoes, torch with extra pair of cells, light bedding, extra clothing, Glucon 'C' or 'D', 'Enerzal' powder, personal medical kit, extra polythene bags to keep cloths, camera, valet, cell phone, garbage etc.
Optional - Cap, goggle, spoon, slippers, knife, snacks, fruits, towel etc.

Alcohol, Drugs
Rules & Instructions:
- Lunch for Saturday noon is compulsory
- Sack & torch with extra pair of cells are compulsory
- Valuable articles are not permissible
- Keep the camp site clean & force others to do so.
- Please note that this area is under the jurisdiction of Govt. of Maharashtra, Forest Department and you are bind to its rules and regulations.
- Leaving your garbage (empty bisleri bottles also) at camp site is not allowed.
- Bring extra polythene bags for your garbage and take it at your home for proper disposal. We are not going to provide you dust bin at camp site. Please stick to these rules.
- Disposable materials like Styrofoam or paper dish, glass or bowl are not allowed. Instead of these, bring what you are using at home
- Take care of your Camera & cell phone
- Everyone has to follow the instructions of Camp In-charge & instructors
- No shortcut in the trek
- Smoking and Drinking not allowed.
- You are coming on your own risk

Cancellation Policy
=> If cancellation done 30 days prior to event 0% deducted.
=> If cancellation done 15 days prior to event 25% deducted.
=> If cancellation done 10 days prior to event 50% deducted.
=> If cancellation done 7 days prior to event NO REFUND
=> Replacement can be done. No charges for the same.
