Its Cycling time… Those who missed fun on cycle last time can come for this Cycling Trail - The Most Awaited Cycle Trail of the Winter season From Rewas to Thal Village (Alibaug) and Boat Journey to Historical Places : Khanderi and Underi Sea forts in deep Sea.

"Trek-O-phy" has organised a Winter Cycling Trail &  Visit to "Khanderi and Underi Forts at Thal (Alibaug Region)"

Let's come together… Lets capture the Memories together…

Meeting Point : Ticket Window of BhauchaDhakka (Ferry wharf)
Total Cycling Distance (30 km Apporx)

Charges:Rs. 1050/- per Member (Guest Fee- Rs. 50/- )

Ferry Charges fm ferry wharf to rewas and return
Day 1: evening Snacks, 
Day 2: Morning Tea / breakfast, Lunch and Hi Tea
Boat charges for Khanderi and Underi sea forts

*Cycles can be arranged on rent for those who don’t have own cycle, Kindly confirmation on or before 12th Dec 2013 to make arrangement of cycles*

About the place:
Fort: Khanderi, Underi | Type : Sea Forts |Level: Easy

Khanderi Fort : is a fortified island 20 km off the coast of Mumbai. This along with its sister fort Underi formed the major fortification along the Mumbai coast. This was built by Shivaji in 1660, to keep a check on the Siddis at Murud-Janjira fort. Most of the fort is still intact the most prominent structure is a lighthouse built in 1837.

Underi Fort : (also called Jaidurg) is a fortified island near the mouth of Mumbai harbour south of Prong's Lighthouse. It is a companion fort toKhanderi and currently lies in Raigad district, Maharashtra. These islands of Khanderi and Underi served as one of the landmarks for ships entering Mumbai harbour. Underi is smaller than Khanderi.

THINGS TO CARRY-
1. Cycles in working condition (Mandatory).
2. Good footwear(Mandatory).
3. Water (2 ltr minimum).
4. Sleeping bag/ sleeping mat, Blanket (Mandatory).
5.TORCH / Head Torch with extra batteries (Mandatory).
6. Cap / Gog / Camera (optional).
7. Sling to tie Haversack to cycle.
8. Personal small medical kit. (if u require usually/Optional)
9. Extra Pair of cloths,Towel, napkin.
10. Insect repellent cream/ sun protecton cream (optional).
11 .Haversack to put all these things.
Please avoid wearing gold and other valuable ornaments.
