Short Info: Star gazing is an activity carried out in the presence of experts observing stars, planets and other objects in universe with the help of Telescope. Mumbai Travellers in association with Lets Campout and Beyond Earth is organizing this night camping with Stars. Here you will be spending your whole night with stars and camping at Tungarli Dam. So are you ready for this unique experience..??

Day1: 07th Dec 2013
5:00pm : Report at Tungarli Base camp. Evening Snacks.
6:30pm. Theoretical Information of Universe. Later we will start with Observation from telescope.
9:30pm: Dinner. Post dinner Star gazing continues. You have option of exploring more and more stars till late night or have rest in your tents.
Day 2: 8th Dec 2013
8:00 am. Morning breakfast.
10:30 am: Checkout for the day with sweet and informative memories.
Inclusions:
- Telescope with Instructor.
- Mineral Water
- Evening Tea and snacks.
- Campfire (limited time)
- Dinner (Veg)
- Breakfast on second day.
- Answering nature in wilderness won’t be any problem as we have toilet with WC.
Exclusions:
- Any Travelling till base camp.
- Anything other than mentioned above.
NOTE:
- Planets Visible- Jupiter(Rises Appox. 11:00 PM ) Mars (Appox. 2:00 AM).
- Try to spot Great Nebula in Orion, Some types of Star Clusters, Comet ISON (If Possible).
- Opportunity for Nikon DSLR Owners to attempt very basic astro-photography.
- This is basic camping and carry mats will be provided inside the tents.
- People will have to bring in their own blankets and warm clothes.
- Food will be vegetarian

Cancellation and Refund:
1. If cancellation done prior to 15 days of outing 75% will be refunded.

DIRECTIONS FOR CAMP:
Take the exit to Lonavala on left side of the road. You would reach Kamath hotel on left. Pass the hotel and follow the road till you reach Lonavala (Near Kumar Resort). Follow the road straight and then you would come across Bharat Petrol Pump on the left side of the road. Take the Left turn and would cross HDFC training Center. Go straight you would see a bridge running over which is expressway. Ask for Upper Deck resort and follow the road. You would come across Stargazing Campsite.
