The winter months are a perfect time to go camping! This time we are doing this with a twist – A star gazing trip over the weekend at Bhivpuri. This trip is not just about camping at a beautiful location – No! This is about getting to know the beauty of our solar system. Learning about the stars and constellations and finally having the privilege of viewing the astral wonders through a telescope. Sounds exciting? Wait till you are staring at an astral body a million miles away.
Here’s what we have planned:
> We leave from Mumbai by 3pm by private transport and reach our destination – Bhivpuri by 5.30
> After a long journey its best to unwind with a hot cup of chai and some snacks to muster some energy because no camping trip is complete without pitching your very own tent (provided by us).
> By around 8pm we will have a hands on description of the stars and constellation by not just anybody but the wonderful people at Beyond Earth .
> Taking in all that information will definitely get your appetite going and by 9 pm we will have a nice hot dinner waiting and ready for us.
> After Dinner comes the best part of the evening stargazing through a telescope with the help of our astronomer! As you watch the stars you can also ask our astronomer questions about what you are looking at and the best part is the telescope features a special ‘GoTo’ function so you don’t have to keep adjusting it.
> The night’s not over yet as we ready to cozy up next to a bonfire that will start by midnight and go on till the conversation and good times run high.
> The next morning were up bright and early by 7 am - after freshening up and morning breakfast we will head for a walk through the beautiful scenery that Bhivpuri has to offer.
>By 12:30 we should be back just in time for a filling lunch and by 1:30 we begin the process of ending our camping adventure.
> By 2:30 we are back on the road and reach Mumbai by 5 pm.
