We @ शिखर वेध have planned a one day trek to a little explored Thakurwadi - Nagnath Tunnel on coming Saturday i.e. on 7th December 2013 ...

Brief Introduction about Thakurwadi - Nagnath Tunnel:
These are the twin railway stations connected by around 700-800 meter tunnel on midst of Khandala ghat
.
Grade: Simple
Time: ~ Maximum 1 hrs from Mudhewadi, Base Village

Catch the fast local train for Karjat. Timings r as follows:

NOTE :
1) Please do take Return Ticket of Dolavi station near to Khopoli since our return journey is from Dolavi. But While going alight at Karjat Station only.
2) Pls do keep a buffer time of 5 mins due to changes in time table ... We will meet @ Karjat station ... Just Check that if u miss the train ... u miss the trek with us...

We will be in Mumbai around 19:30 hrs (that's - subjective)

The Cost for the trek is Rs. 300 /- per head
This includes local transportation from Karjat till Dolavi, 2 refreshments & Shikhar Vedh Charges

Things To Carry:-
Pls Do carry LUNCH for Saturday (a must)
A Water Bottle (~3 Ltrs) (a must)
Camera, Cell Phone, Binoculars (Optional)
Pls avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, biscuits etc.
Good trekking shoes Action Trekking shoes preferably,
Personal basic medical kit (Containing an antiseptic, few bandages, personal medications if any, Antibiotics for stomach infection)
